In-School Workshop Examples:

a)Bird bath from mosaic tiles. 

b)Flags designed with fabric pens, tie dye, batik and all sorts. They can then be put on poles and hung outside during the summer terms.

c)Eco Wind Chime Wishing Tree. This a fantastic tree made from wire and multicoloured fabric strips (this can be bought in or dyed by the children). Each child makes a wind chime from a choice of 5 different materials; they can mix and match or just stick to one. On the end of every branch they attach their chime. After on leaf shaped cut outs they then write their wish for the environment. These too are attached to the branches. The effects are wonderful. The tree can stand up to 5ft tall.

d)The Outdoor Mighty Eco Warrior! With sweet peas planted in his recycled boots, his body a giant bag garden and plant pot head full of cress the eco warrior is mighty indeed! (He can also be made as a living willow sculpture)

e) The Indoor Mighty Eco Warrior! Children make him from any unwanted cardboard, plastic and tin foil in their homes. He can be made to be purely a sculpture or he can be made to collect and hold recycled paper, cans, plastics or anything else.

f) Build an Organic Patch! The patch can be from a meter square to a huge lawn. The principals are all the same. Over a period of weeks children and staff design the garden, dig the garden, plant and harvest it. Through the whole process we are there all the way to support you. When the project is finished we are always happy to pop in and give advice.

Out of School Workshops.

If you fancy a day out with your class, year group, learning cluster or form then we can accommodate you at our workshop or down on the farm. You can come and pick beautiful fruit to take home and also learn all the things you can do with berries, like crushing them to make fabric dye, make jam and lots more.
